David is a filmmaker based in Sydney, Australia.

As a director David has made a number of shorts, music videos and a heap of advertorial content, including multiple nationally aired television campaigns. His short films have been presented at film festivals globally, such as Granny which was selected to screen at 10+ festivals around the world including Fantasia Film Festival (Montreal), Dances with Films (Los Angeles) and Sydney Underground Film Festival (Sydney) where it received the Festival Choice Award, and his latest short Bug, which was aquired by Australian broadcaster SBS on Demand. As a producer, David made feature film Mad Extravagant City (dir. Tel Benjamin) which is currently in post production. David is currently developing feature films, The Old Gods, with development funding from Screen Australia, and Cursed, a one-shot horror film, at Studio Nocturnal.

David graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Directing from the National Institute of Dramatic Art and holds a Bachelor of Digital Media (majoring in Film Production) from the College of Fine Arts, UNSW.

David is the co-director + founder of STUDIO NOCTURNAL.
